About Us

Tely Medical Centre was founded as a public limited company in 1989. Initially, 460 equity shares of Rs.5000/- were issued, which were fully subscribed within a short period. Construction of the building started on the 25th of April 1990, and the hospital was inaugurated on 9th June 1991.

Initially started as a 60 bedded hospital, Tely Medical Centre Ltd has now risen to a well equipped 100 bedded hospital, with the addition of a new block.

To begin with, a group of doctors with extensive experience in the government sector joined the company as consultants and directors. As years rolled by, new energetic doctors joined the group to start new departments, while the old group continued with their service.

In the patient care sector, our efficient supporting staff provides patient - centred, compassionate service for the tiniest premature newborns to centenarians and everyone in between - treating each patient with dignity and integrity.

The share capital has increased manifold now, with the increase in number of shareholders. With a vibrant director board of twelve resilient members, and a chairman & Managing Director elected from among them, the hospital goes ahead, committed to the values of diversity, inclusion and meticulous administration.

We customarily maintain an excellent track record in financial management, proudly disbursing dividends to the shareholders continuously since 1993. The needy staff has always been helped with financial assistance, besides annual bonus as per government stipulations.

Our investors, besides the dividends, are also eligible for concession upto 50% in lab investigations, operation theatre charges, room rent etc. This benefits are extended to the dependents of the shareholders too.

With a good array of resources for the provision of compassionate, state-of-the-art care, the hospital is ever - poised to identify and respond to the health-related needs of the diverse populations we serve.
